Unknown James Bond Watch Tissot PR-516
This Tissot PR-516 was sent to me for maintenance. It is from the early 1970s and became famous because of 007 James Bond (Roger Moore) who wore it in the movie Live and Let Die. The watch is in bad shape. The bezel is missing and the case and crystal are totally scratched.

I maintain this to the maximum skeletonized ETA Unitas 6497 movement. The bridges are extreme skeletonized that they can easily break or at least bent. I have to be very carful. I have the exact same movement. I noticed a small "grinding" noise when the dial is up, which can't be heard when dial is down. Opened the caseback and it <<seems>> to me that the balance wheel is touching that central gear under the rotor. Any tip?

Well done; reminds me of my youth when I went from Cartier Tank a couple times to the Santos. Still have the original box... rarely worn since Apple Watch (sorry just need the health info.); and I might part with my Santos (exactly like the one you restored only newer I think..automatic.. and serviced twice by Cartier directly). Anyway great video of the restoration.

Coming from a watchmaker family of generations, from the area this watch was made, i would not call this a restauration Sir. There are potentials in your Work, but there is a lot to be learned.

Wow! Awesome job. How much does a restoration normally cost? For example a 1979 omega seamaster that has some scratches and light rust and still works.
